CELINE DION ELITE
celinedionelite celinedionelite celinedionelite celinedionelite celinedionelite
The Celine Dion Elite community has officially been open for users to join and begin posting. It was created by myself and designed by whenidance
and will be moderated by the two of us, as well as agm_seben
We decided to create Celine Dion Elite after discovering a lack of activity in the two previous Celine communities. With the recent and near future release of new French and English albums, the ending of "A New Day..."s incredible five year run in Las Vegas, Nevada; and the future World Tour which begins in 2008 we have decided now is the time to get up, active, and involved in the Celine community once again! Our group will be dedicated to updating users with the latest news, photos, and other important releases dealing with our favorite Canadian diva.
We're looking forward to seeing you all there and enjoying a close-knit Celine community on Live Journal once again.

I'm thinking of beginning a new Celine Dion community of my own. Since joining, I've only found two Celine-themed Live Journal communities so far but they both seem to be quite non-active.
Celine will be releasing a new English album very soon and has recently released the new French album entitled, "D'elles" as I'm sure you all know. She will also begin a World Tour in 2008 so this would be the perfect opportunity to create a community fully dedicated to keeping up with the details for all you "Celine Fan-Addicts" out there! Once the community is created, the promotion period will begin to get the word out about the new and improved fan community for all the Celine fans in hiding.
If anyone would be interested in co-moderating or helping with the design and graphic work, I'd be more than happy to accept your partnership! To contact me, you can reply via comment to this post with your name and email address or other form of contact (such as AOL or Yahoo! type instant messengers). Thanks in advance! :)

A New Album for November
Celine Dion’s new album won’t take its name from Shania Twain’s 1995 smash hit The Woman in Me after all. The Quebec singer’s first English CD in three years, due out Nov. 13, will be titled Taking Chances, according to a select group of fans who got a preview in Las Vegas on Monday night.
And she does just that on the album, getting a bit bluesy and rocking out when she’s not belting out her usual chest-pounding ballads. Last week, Dion told USA Today the album would be called The Woman in Me, sparking a Celine vs. Shania debate online. "I think this album represents a positive evolution in my career," Dion said of her album. "I’m feeling strong, maybe a little gutsier than in the past, and just as passionate about music and life as I ever was." On the new CD, Dion ventures into rock territory with a cover version of Heart’s "Alone" and guitar-driven tracks titled "This Time," "Shadow of Love" and "Can’t Fight the Feeling."
She sings the blues on "That’s Just the Woman in Me," showing off the rawness of her normally perfect voice. And while the vocals are pure Dion, some of the arrangements are decidedly different. "Let Me Be Your Soldier" features military-style drums; "Right Next to the Right One" has the sound of folk instruments; and "Eyes On Me" is a beat-heavy track with a touch of Bollywood. The singer has included several ballads, including "A Song for You" and "World to Believe In." In addition to the title track, there’s also "Just Fade Away," "My Love," and "Surprise, Surprise."
I'm going to see Celine live for the first time in my life here in South-africa. I can't wait!!
